How to minimise drop-outs and maximise success with contact lens wearers Understanding why our patients drop out from contact lens wear is important but often overlooked. We spend many hours examining prospective contact lens wearers, fitting them, training them on the best use of their lenses and solutions, only to see a significant proportion of them discontinue. Why is this? Evidence suggests that patients often discontinue very early in their contact lens journey and it seems that (a) providing great training about using their lenses and solutions and (b) engaging very closely with wearers over the first few weeks may act to reduce the likelihood of dropping out.

This webinar will review our knowledge of this area and provide strategies to minimise the number of contact lens drop-outs in order to enhance the contact lens experience for our patients, leading to better practitioner satisfaction and improved practice success.
