- How can non-verbal communication be read - taking a look at body language and how it effects your patient.
- Explore different personality types, find out which type you are and the impact that knowledge has on your patient interaction.
- Look and practice open and closed questioning techniques and see how best to apply these in your contact lens clinic to put your patient at ease.

This module is suited to all level Optometrists who deal with patients on a daily basis. It is important to remember that eye care professionals sometimes overlook that an eye examination can be a stressful time for a patient, with unfamiliar equipment and surroundings.
